    Default After Outlook, using Sugarcrm

    Hello,

I have been using outlook but would like to use Sugarcrm. All of my customer addresses are on Outlook.
Would you know how I can do this?

    Thank you.

You need to clarify what it is you are trying to do.

Are you asking for advice on how to migrate your contact list from Outlook into Sugar?

Or, are you wanting to know how to leverage both tools in a collaborative manner?

There is a myriad of questions one can ask. Please specify your exact goal.

As I read on your post, you are needing to get data to your other database. You could try using software that will help you in managing the transfer.
I can recommend the use of data integration software such as Datastage (It is a licensed program) or Talend Open Studio (Talend is open source). Tell us how it went.

Usually just export Outlook data to a CSV, then import into SugarCRM - a good trick is often to import the same csv as both accounts (do this first) and contacts.

The only wrinkle - when doing the accounts import, the file should be de-duped, and only the records with the best account address data left in the csv.
