I am using sugarcrm in my office. When a particular user is uploading any documents, other users in their role should get alert or message to email that this user is uploaded a document.
Is that possible?

It is possible but it requires some implementation.

for doing that you need to make integration with the documents module in your jsalerts.php which is in /include/javascript/jsalerts.php. And then you need to pass the db values in the alert function according to that
