Alternative to MS Outlook for local integration in linux

Hi

i'm testing the plugin for Outlook, it's fine ad works well.

I'm planning to migrate all my work to SugraCRM, using the web interface and the Outlook plugin. But i have a question:

In my scenario some people use linux and thunderbird, is there the possibility (using an external program or an external plugin) to have the same integration between thunderbird and sugar, as the Outlook integration?

I'm also interested in a commercial plugin, not only free.

and that is the question. i sync with outlook for calendar and tasks and contacts as well, but my main email is thunderbird. There is a plugin for contact/email sync w/thunderbird

i just checked and there are a couple out now:

there is a thunderbird plugin forum here im not sure if that covers just one of these plugins or all, check it out.

i have been playing with the lightning plugin for thunderbiord which adds basic calendar (havent used on linux should work though), and theres a plugin that syncs THAT to google calendar. im curious if theres something similar , that would be incredibly appealing.

update: i just checked on of the plugins appears to work with the lightning calendar plugin. im checking it out now
