Annoying bug destroys email content

I've encountered a very strange bug that seems to affect the email editor, and I was hoping that I could get some help from the community about what could be causing it and the possibility of a work around.

It's ruined an email message that I've worked hard on that I've sent off to a bunch of contacts.

I've filed a bug report here

Basically the sugar suite likes deleting the word "consulting" from emails, and since this company deals in consulting, you can see how this would be a major headache and problem. Especially since it seems to delete the word at random times, and I just can't avoid using the word "consulting".

If I could get some help on this I would appreciate it .

there is a similar bug i and others have been battling with : the email editor removes instances of "cont" or con and some other strange little words.l am about to install the 4.51e update that just came out, doing a backup now and i hope the prob goes away

DistinctiveWeb, based on florenceit's feedback, if it's not satisafactory, I'll bump this to a must-fix in 451f.

So far so good. I am not 100% sure it's resolved as I am not sure exactly what was causing the issue and it would not happen every time. but- i created a new campaign and email template (pasting in my html setup) and edited the template a few times. related to this bug (i think) was an issue where link addresses would also get messed up (charcers would be removed) and that also hasn't been an issue so far. i have edited the email template maybe 5 times and everything seems to be working fine. note i started with a newly created campaign & template so not sure if that is part of the solution.

using Version 4.5.1e (Build 1049)
php5 and mysql 5

i will be back t this thread if any of these issues reoccur.

Erm, I was the one who reported the bug unless you're talking about another bug report other than the one that I linked above.

I will also install 4.5.1e and test it out next week.

I've upgraded to version 4.5.1e and I've created emails in a similar format as I described in the bug report and so far so good.

The original email template that ALWAYS reproduced the problem is working ok so far. I am yet to test a true email campaign but it looks like we're on a winner here.
