I have spent a lot of time searching the web for a good open source system. I have tested a lot and find SugarCRM very very good. However, it seems to me that all the system I have tested is in lack of one (to me) very important feature, the ability to archive documents and link them directly to an account or customer.
I have been working a lot with a CRM system called SuperOffice. In SuperOffice when you select an account, you get a list of all the activities you have had with contacts under this account. The list will contain calls and meetings like in SugarCRM, but also (and this is what I miss in SugarCRM), documents, emails, faxes etc. fra you have sent to or received from the contact. Also, you can create new documents from within the system using templates. When you create a new document, this is automaticaly stored in the system under the account.
Have I missed this feature in SugarCRM or does it not excist? If not, are there any plans in that area?
Many thanks
