Archiving Old Project Tasks

Hello all,

I was wondering if there was a way to archive old project tasks. Reason being my companies task list is getting very long and hard to manage, However, we don't want to delete old tasks so we can keep record of older projects for client management purposes.

If anyone could tell me a way to archive tasks/ solution to get them out of the current task list that would be great!

Also i there is a way to do this for actual projects, that would be nice too (i'm sure its the same process for both)
