    Default Assign tasks using workflow

    Hi,

I am evaluating Sugar vs AC! and Goldmine. I need to automatically assign tasks to users when a sale occurs. Playing with workflow manager in my trial version I cannot seem to do this. Can someone let me know if this is possible and give me some pointers as to how it can be done?

    TIA

    John

Default Re: Assign tasks using workflow

I am going to guess that it is certianly possible:

I think you would set up a workflow on Opportunities and make a condition that sales stage changes to Closed-won

Then set an action to create a task and fill in the fields that you want on that task. You may need more than one condition if you want east coast sales to go to one person and west coast to another,
