How can we change the display of the Assigned To: in Contacts to be the Employee Name instead of the UserName?

Right now AFAIK there is a limitation in the popup javascript that prevents it from returning 2 fields (First Name and Last Name) back to a single field (the Assigned_to field). Thats why it returns the user name. I am working on a patch for that code that will allow the assigned to popup to return the full name. I will have that out shortly as now we have 4.0.1a which should fix my other outstanding issues.

Hello kbrill,

any news concerning glenbes quesition? I personally can live with the username but our Sales-Team cannot.
Further it would be nice if you could have the 'assigend to' field as a hyperlink, so that you can see the personal data of the assigned employee.
