Assigned To: fields

I need to be able to add "Assigned to" fields to a new module I created. I need to assign financial transactions to account names. I'm using the "Basic" module because there are only 5 fields total. HALP!

Sigh. Nevermind, I got it. Relationships.

Well... new problem. It seems that if I use the basic type of module then I can't have a subpanel on the accounts tab. So I recreated using the contacts type, and added a relationship from Financial data, to accounts.

Problem now is that the field to tie it into accounts is not available. Grrrr, what am I missing here? This seems to be rather inconsistent and it's driving me crazy. Please help me!
