I'm having the same issue with attachments sending correctly but not showing up in email history. Also, noticed the same thing with all contacts showing up--instead of only the contacts related to the account selected when sending an email.

    Any suggestions?

    I got the same problem.

    In detail, my situation is:
    1. Fresh install Sugarcrm 4.2 (also tried 4.2a) on CentOS 4.x
    2. File attachment works ok in mail.
    3. But file attachment fail in Campaign Email marketing.
    4. Viewing the email template can find the file. Clicking it and it's there. The file is in "cache/upload/" named as something like ...temp..foo
    5. But the recipent just don't receive the attachment.

Same issue here. Attachment files are new and done from the document managment system of SugarCRM, but email didn't sent them.

How long will ths bug remain unfixed? This is another critical bug that seems to be ignored even though the open source community seems to have figured out the fix for the dev team. As a hosted customer, I would appreciate the fix getting taken care of....

I am also seeing the problem where in Account... History, sent emails do not show the paperclip icon when they were sent with an attachment. Also, Notes that had no attachment do show the paperclip. It seems the 'show paperclip icon' logic is reversed.

    I am using Sugar 4.2.0a

I've fixed several attachment related bugs for patch 4.2.0b. It should be available shortly - it's going through QA.
