I have a usability issue i'm trying to resolve. We have cases tied to account and contacts. Our data structure is kind of odd, in that each one of our customers has an account and a contact. The reason for this is a very long story, but bottom line is, if Joe Schmoe ordered a product from our site, he will have account "Joe Schmoe" and have a contact "Joe Schmoe. The contact is related to teh account in sugar. When you create a case from tjhe account or contact module it automatically ties it to the account/contact you came from, but we want the other field to be automatically filled in. For example: Customer calls and we look his contact up -- Joe Schmoe. We then need to create a case, but we want that case to also be linked to the account "Joe Schmoe" so it will show up on both subpanels. Is there any way to do this ins ugar? If not, how would i go about including some additional javascript on the create/edit page? Worst case, i can hack together some JS that will load a result from php (using php to query the DB for the correct account or contact) and populate the field that way.
