Backing-up of Sugar files

Hello there!

I'm still experimenting with Sugar CE and I have this problem: trying to backup the sugar files I get errors of not being able to create the folder/file.

I;m under a domain, but still, the folder I point is a writeable one.

Why would this happen?

Should I do the backup from the machine that holds the installation or what?

I made it work, only by backing-up directly from the server.
