    Default Backups

Just a general survey question, really.

For backups of Sugar (and all other MySQL apps we run) I use SQLyog Enterprise Edition's (http://www.webyog.com/en/) scheduled backup routine. It's basically just a mysqldump done over the wire so the dump file is on another box rather than the actual server.

I'm curious as to what other mechanisms Sugar users use. The mysqldump/FTP duo seems to be fairly prevalent; any folks using another toolset to accomplish this?

Maybe some people have scheduled the native SugarCRM backup process?

Currently about to implement a replicated mysql server (log shipping) and back that up offline when required. This will allow us to keep the master server up constantly.
