    Default Being Labeled Spam

I know this is more of domain issue than Sugar but does anyone know how to get around being listed as Junk or Spam? Our company is does an email campaign of over 10K+ /week and I'm afraid that even though we send our emails to customers that have requested additional information we are being put in the Junk Folder.

    hello,

there are certain keywords and phrases that you can avoid, which increase the likelihood of your email being labeled spam. You can do a search on google to find common items that add up to make your email to to the junk box. Also a good idea to try to minimize any attachments and embed any images (instead of having them as attachments)

The other thing you want to check is the domain from where you are sending your email to make sure it is not on any blacklists. If so, then you will probably want to consider a new smtp.

Avoid using Sendmail option in Email Settings. Instead use SMTP option. This is one of the reason for emails being labeled as spam.

SMTP rather than sendmail is definitely the way. The problem behind is the difference between the domain you are (physicaly) sending from (your server where Sugar lives) and the domain that you use as sender. If these two are not the same the likelyhood of your mails being flagged as spam is almost 100%. There are ways to avoid that but it needs a good guy to fix it.
By using smtp you may run in to another problem though: Most providers these days do not allow more than a certain number of emails per time unit to be sent. You need to fnd out these limits and and set your batch sizes in Sugar accordingly.

Thank you! And that is the problem I am running into now. We use corporate Gmail and when I come in in the mornings I have errors that I have used my available space for send/receive.

Going to create another domain right now as a temporary fix.

Encountering Spam issues while sending bulk marketing email from Sugar has been an issue for many quarters. I've spoken to Clint (VP Prod Dev) on several occassions about this.

We introduced an integrated solution for Sugar users that solves this deliverability problem. It's an extra monthly fee, but well worth the time to get it set up. Learn more about this at http://www.inbox25.com/sugarcrm_integration.php. Or call me directly at 888-898-7135. 249. Thanks
