Default Best hosting control panel for sugarcrm and APC

I am currently running sugarcrm on plesk and it is hell. The best way to run sugar in plesk in with suphp and suphp does not seem to be compatible with APC or any of the accelerators since really sugar without an accelerator is slow.

Is there any hosting control panel out there that plays nice with both APC and SugarCRM?

Quite a wide statement. I have found sugar to be pretty rapid (sub-second) for most tasks. there are a large number of variables that dictate performance of sugar (or any enterprise-class application):

    1. number of users
    2. types of users
    3. server processor, memory and disk
    4. network infrastructure

so, it may not be sugar that is slow

Well just adding APC took my page response time for certain pages from .6 seconds to .3 seconds. All the Mysql wizardry that I did does not compare even closely to this on my specific instance.

I'm not an expert on Plesk, so I don't know much about suPHP. Why do you need to run suPHP? I agree that APC really helps Sugar performance, so running APC is your best case scenario.

Sugar needs the web user to be apache this is not the case in plesk. Plesk problems with sugar are all over the forums, the best solution is suphp but that does not work with apc.

So I am looking for a control panel that can run sugarcrm and apc.

To be more precise every time sugar writes files it writes them as apache:apache while plesk uses a separate user for each site and psacln as group. So every time you customize a field or form tou need to change ownership and permissions of the sugar installation. If there was a way for sugar to know that it's user and group is different things might be ok.
