I want to use Sugar to manage my To Do list.
I started using 'tasks' but i have come to realize that a lot of tasks are more like projects in that they have email trails, conversations, meetings, notes even sub tasks of their own. Therefore, i was thinking about using the Projects module for slightly complex 'tasks' but that still leaves me with the simple ones.
So what i was thinking, was to create a project called 'To Do' and have my simple to do items as project tasks. So that if a simple task required a couple of emails, the history would at least still be there.
The only thing is, is that i cannot see a way of hiding completed tasks from the project task list. So you could quite easily end up with 50+ completed tasks cluttering up the view. I know you can delete them, but that doesn't feel right - what if i need to refer back to the emails for instance?
The other thing with Projects is that there appears to be no way of removing them from the project view either - so if i roll out sugar across my organisation i could quickly end up with hundreds of projects all cluttering up the project view.
Anyway, i was wondering if anyone else used Sugar to run a To Do list or used it for day to day project work and if so, how do YOU do it? And advice or suggestions you can give me?
Many thanks in advance!
