Default Best way to send email campaign to add-ons

Does anyone have a good way to address this...

You send out an email campaign and after it has gone out, you realise there are several other people that should receive it. What is the best / easiest way to do that.

    Here's what I've tried:

    1) Send the email template individually to the prospect. But, then the tracker links don't work so when you take them out you don't get any track back stats and you start adding a lot of similar templates.

    2) Add them to the campaign list and resend the campaign emails. This tends to be a little scary since you're relying on Sugar to suppress resending to those that have already sent but then it does add them to the historical send list which tends to get quite big if you this a couple times.

Anyone else have other thoughts / ideas?

    How about this.

    1. create new target list
    2. add it to existing campaign
    3. send campaign email only to that target list

@kwid - The target list solution is definitely the way to go. Your solution under point 2 will work as well but I guess you are right by not trusting Sugar. I recently had a campaign that was sent out although it was set to inactive. Wasn't really cool...

Generally many users will just log in to their email account, compose a new email and paste the relevant information and thence send over to their own account. To simplify and expedite the process, users probably can try “Email Yourself!”, a free add-on for Firefox browser if they are Gmail users.

When you start an email list, you want it to be the best email marketing campaign you can create. To do this you need to give it the best information you have. To give the subscribers more than they expected, you need to keep doing these things with every e-mail. Make them think they have found the best list by giving them more unique and helpful content then they could have dreamed of.. bulk email campaign Allows you to create an A/B test campaign
