Arrow ... better account and campaign mgmt?

    Hello SugarFolks ---

We've been successfully using Sugar since early v3x. We are a product reseller and have many customers across multiple states.

In addition to contact, account, and case mgmt; I would like to use Sugar for newsletter and renewal mgmt.

I have included a few requirements below. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. It's unclear to me whether answer lies with Sugar customization, a SugarForge extension, or 3rd party product (SF).

I currently maintain a "target list" under Campaign tab. I add Contacts to this "target list' and send newsletter using email template.

I need the following additional functionality:

    1. would like to have separate TAB to maintain products we resell.
    2. need to keep track of what products customers have purchased, when, and details (eg. renewal date, etc).
    3. ability to query Sugar for "all accounts who own product XYZ" and produce report (example: report with renewal dates).
    4. ability to query Sugar for "accounts who own product XYZ" and assign them to email newsletter (without a lot of manual process).
    5. At minimum, I need ability to expand "target list" to full web page (can only see 10 entries at time now -- LAME), be able to SORT by Account, and have the Contact picker dialog not close every time I hit "select" (needs to stay open and allow me to continue doing queries/selections).

Again, any recommendations would be appreciated. -G

side note: I'm not looking for a master's dissertation on the topic.

We have $$$ to spend to resolve this but would rather buy a product (certified sugar extension, etc) rather than burn endless time/cycles with doing custom development on Sugar platform (ie. waste of time/$$$ for our company -- and not re-usable knowledge we could leverage for further $$$ --- we're not in business to sell Sugar -- or customize it).

Since we're a typical product reseller in tech marketspace, I would think my requirements are VERY typical (ie. what products do we sell, and for those products, which of our customers owns what...).

This is not rocket science ... honestly, suprised there appears to be nothing to address this requirement in Sugar.

Maybe the answer is developing our own solution -- then gong toe to toe with Salesforce (haaha).
