Default BIG Improvement In Email With 4.5.0f

Just wanted to mention that email works just fine for me in 4.5.0f.
No more issues with html email views; all images and design layouts appear as they should.

The next thing to test is the inbound mail setting, to see if it checks for new messages as it should. It hasn't worked, yet, up to v4.5.0e.

If it looks like your email isn't being read into Sugar from the POP3 account, try clicking on "Rebuild Inbound Email Accounts" in the Admin->Repair screen.

Exclamation Re: BIG Improvement In Email With 4.5.0f

    Thanks Clint.

I found one annoying bug... or maybe it's me (that happens sometimes).

When editing an email saved as a draft, instead of overwriting the original draft, SugarCRM creates a new draft. This amounts to a lot of drafts...

And you'd think they were completely separate drafts, as that's how they're listed, but no: when I finally send what I think is one of the drafts, it sends them all.
I just sent someone five identical emails, all the while meaning to send only one.
At least SugarCRM updates all versions of the draft to match the one I'm working on. I'd hate for someone to receive a bunch of roughs.

-Something tells me there's a file to be edited somewhere.

    Hi Antonio -

I've created bug #9977 to track this issue.

    Clint

    Thanks again...
and it looks like I may have spoken too soon...

I just received an email which is nothing but code.

NOW, I'll mention this: it's only the emails I receive from the MacWorld Expo.
All other emails in html are fine; the emails I get from eBay, Apple, Skype and Paypal all render just as they should.

EDIT: I think tonight I'll have a look at the code in each email and see what's different between them.

I wanted to append this to mention that it still won't auto-check for incoming emails.

However, sending and receiving files works just fine (I remember reading some complaints about it in the last revision).
At least PDFs show no issues being sent or received.

Old thread, but since I was *just* assigned the bug Clint created, I'll try to respond here.

Any chance you could forward the macworld emails my way? -> chris@sugarcrm.com

I'd like to take a look at any funky stuff that we may be missing.

I'll be fixing the drafts bug for 4.5.1.

Could you be more specific about your use-case and, just in case, your setup? I just tried a few variations of what I guessed your use-case is and each one saved only 1 draft, and then on send, only sent the 1 copy.
