Block other users from seeing Sales VP info

Hello All,

I am new to SugarCRM. I have a Sales VP who wants to see his sales people's activities (which he can) but he does not want others seeing his activities and he doesn't want them seeing other sales people's activities, only their own. How do I accomplish this?

Hi Rich, and welcome.

Which version of Sugar are you on?

If it's a version that has teams, then you can set everyone to default to their personal team, and that would give you the result you want, or setup a team for each individual, and make only them a member.

If their UserID shows them reporting to the Sales VP, the VP will see all subordinate records, but they won't be able to see each others.

If you're on Community edition, then look at some of the security modules, that include team functionality.
