Default Bounce Handling on email campaigns

    Hi,

I've just set up the community edition of SugarCRM for our company, and we're really excited about it. I want to ask if anyone can offer any sage advice on the issue of bounce handling.

I set up a group email address to use to send be the email address that is used for the 'from', 'reply-to' mail address, and checked the box saying 'Bounce Handling'. However, what I would like to know is whether we can set up an email account just for bounce handling, so that it doesn't need to be the same as the address that recipients might reply to.

Thanks for any advice in advance.

    James.

This is exactly where I'm at James.
I guess it is better to guide the user via a web page/web form and to drive responses in this way.
But this surely can only be "guide".
Is the done thing to use a do_not_reply@mydomain.com as the sending address? and that this is the bounce handled monitored inbound email box?

Or should we use different reply_to and mail_from functionality in email to drive bounce handling.

Anyone know about "best practice" on this stuff?

    Thx,
    Simon
