I plan to use the same layout/template for the sites I create. I'm currently using the AkoIndustry template for Mambo but I'm certainly open to suggestions. I agree about adding support for the Pro community and plan to do so. I've updated the www.sugaraddicts.org site and the forums - http://forums.sugaraddicts.org. Again, this is just the beginning of these sites and the community's input on adding functionality/content would be greatly appreciated. Please read the latest news item for the short term 'roadmap' for the site(s). If anyone is interested in moderating one of the forums please let me know. Also, if anyone has developed or is developing a community site in a language other than English and would like to be part of this project please let me know.

    Hi,

it's a greate Idea to support this nifty Product with a bit more Community Feeling , but think about that with a CRM we work at a totally diffrent Market as Mambo. Whats result into the situation that almost everyone trys to make Money with his Work, also we run into the Licensing Problem witch is a bit confusing for as i'm not Lawyer . Beside this all, bogey63 lets put as togehter for a German Community Site , worte e a Mail at s.fuentes_at_the-service.de and lets talk about what we could and want do for a German Community ...

    Regards
    Sebastian

    Very well, Sebastian,

i am not sure, what you mean by "but think about that with a CRM we work at a totally diffrent Market as Mambo. Whats result into the situation that almost everyone trys to make Money with his Work, also we run into the Licensing Problem witch is a bit confusing for as i'm not Lawyer "

As far as i understand smueller, he uses Mambo as CMS System to host a webpage for a Sugar community.

And i do not see any problem with that.

    Anyone else?

bogey63 - I've sent you an email to info@sugaraddicts.de and it was bounced with a Relaying Denied - User not found message. Is there another address I can send it to?

I, too, believe there may be some confusion as to what purpose Mambo serves in this 'mix'. It is simply being used as the CMS for the core of the community sites - quite like SugarCRM.com itself.

Questions for the SugarCRM Team -

    1. would you be willing(or perhaps it's already possible and I'm missing it) to syndicate your site news for use on the core community sites that are being built?
    2. what is the timeframe for the release of the wiki and forge sites?
    3. have any other thoughts on what info or resources you might be willing to share across the core community sites that are being built to drive traffic between sites.

I know, there were some mails, which bounced back. My Mailsever needed a rehash, which was done this afternoon, everything cool, because its running in the meanwhile. Please give it another try, i'd like to discuss some things with you.

BTW: Why not use the sourceforge.net RSS Feed for Sugar OS?

I've syndicated the RSS from SF but I was wondering if it would also be possible to syndicate the 'News' items that are on the home page of this site? It does include a number of good items that should help promote Sugar and keep the community up to date. Would this be possible?
