Calls to Meetings

Hi.

At a review of teh CRM earlier today a few of my users asked about a simple way to create a meeting from within a Call. Users will go through there Daily calls nad the out come of them could be nothing or to arrange a meeting, rather then closing the call, selecting to create a new meeting, selecting the Account again etc. etc.

What would the best and easiest approach be? The best way would be to put a button on the Calls module that will convert it to a meeting pully out whatever information the users require.

Another approach cloud be when you schedule a call, add a meeting for that particular date and time in the in the CRM.

The idea would be that when the call is closed that a meeting could be created and automatically include items from the Call to the meeting - this will not happen with all Calls, so automatiically creating a Meeting would be pointless.

I am going to add another checkbox called arrange Meeting. When the user has the Calls and is closing it and entering in anymore information they can higlight the checkbox and a logic hook will be triggered that will create the meeting and pass it some of the information from the Call the only item I am stuck is the following.

When the user presses Save and the Checkbox is true, then I would like the user to be re-directed to the editview of the Meeting that was just created. How can I do this?
