Hello all:
We have been using SugarCRM version 4.5.0f campaigns successfully without any problems (other than bounce handling being broken from day one), however we just sent out a new campaign yesterday to around 2200 recipients. This was scheduled to fire at 1:00am, and it seems to have sent multiple emails out to a target list. Here are the details:
- The campaign has 3 target lists, one with 448, one with 1752, and one with 9 recipients.
- The database has up to 10 records per email on some leads.
- I do not know at this point if 10 messages were actually sent, if this is the case this is very bad indeed
- The multiple recipient list appears to be from one target list of the three, but I don’t think all 1752 records have multiples
- There is one record at the beginning of this target list with an empty email address, I don’t know if this may have caused a problem
At this point I am completely at a loss and in hot water over this since we may have spanmed our customers. I really need to get to the bottom of this and would be happy to provide any more information as necessary to diagnose. Do we need to upgrade our version? Do we need the Enterprise version? Please help..
