Campaigns: setting up target lists based on geographic location

Hi to all,

i'd like to set up target lists for my email campaigns based on other criteria such as geographic location?

How do I do this in Sugar?

I'm using Version 4.5.1d (Build 1273)

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Are you using the OS, Pro/Ent edition?

For Pro/Ent edition -
You can use the reporting module to filter leads/targets/contacts by geographic location. Click on the Select from reports button in the campaigns module and select the report. This imports all the targets into the target list.

For OS -
This is quite tricky. The only I can think of is doing an advance search in the leads module, export the search results in Excel and importing these leads as target and then associate them to a target list. This seems quite tedious and results in duplicate data in the system. You can check SugarExchange or SugarForge for ideas from other developers.
