Hey ppl, is it possible to insert a new customer into the database using push via the api ?

If a customer is already found in the database, is it possible to add an information like
"User contacted you via "ConnectToo" or something like this?

What do you exactly mean by customer? A user, a contact or a lead? I believe in any case it should be possible with SOAP.
