Can sugar do this???

Hello, I tried to figure this out on my own, by using the demo and a virtual appliance, but I just couldnt figure out how to do the following:

1. Id like sugar to send out an email automatically whenever a new lead is created from the web or entered manually (from the phone)
2. Id like a templated email to be sent to a lead 2, 5, 7 and then 14 days after a quote is sent automatically, without the crm user having to do anything.

Is this possible with sugar crm? I called the dopey sales person at sugar, and they said someone would get back to me twice, and i never heard anything.

Any help is appreciated!

I think you would need the workflow feature of Sugar Pro to do it.

It seems like the workflow feature requires you to create an action, but i dont see an action that sends an email?

Im surprised this is so hard to do....

You can do that using logic hook, an upgrade safe customization.
You setup an before save logic hook. At the sugarcrm.com/wiki there is tutorial about it.

What is a quote for you? Is it a record for Quote module?
Can you detail it?
