Can SugarCRM merge into MS Word Docs?

Hi All,

thanks is a great CRM btw.
Just wondering... if i have a template layout - MS word doc - that i have put merge fields into.. what are the chances of exporting data from the "campains" section of the CRM into those merge fields?
can it be done with a click of a button? i'm happy to read and learn, so for sure swing some sites or someting my way.

Any help greatly appreciated!!!!

Hi,

Out of the box this is only possible if you use Sugar Network or Sugar Professional which have a MS Word Plug-In included.

Alternatively you can build your own custom ODBC interface between the Sugar MySQL tables and Word.

I believe that if you're willing to part with $120.00, you can purchase the Sugar Network option which includes the Outlook plug-in, a Word plug-in as well as 1 support case.

To my knowledge, this should do what you are looking for.

thanks guys, had a look and a try with the 30 day option. more than willing to pay the $ however some bugs in it that means it isn't coming across properly! what happens is that the 'master module' selection is showing "CampainLeads" as one option rather than two separate items on separate lines like the others (acocunts.etc)... i need to get data from campain and if i select the joint together name option as above, it only shows merge fields from leads not campains!

also i would prefer to be in the screen for the particular item in Sugar and hit 'merge' rather than open the doc and try and do it backwards from there.
