    Default Can't save custom modules after restore

    I backed up from a existing server (ubuntu 8.10) and migrated (unzip backup and export/import sql database) to a new system. I can do everything fine except edit modules packages I created earlier. I also cannot create New packages either. It says it saves it but it never does.

    5.5 rc4 btw

    check your sugar.log for errors

    If you're thinking of using this for production bear in mind that 5.5 is in beta and is NOT ready for production purposes.

    Regardless ... are you saying there is no sugar.log file in the sugarcrm root directory?

    There is a sugar.log but it is not writing new information. It won't write anymore logs.

    Check the permissions on your server
