    Default Case Management and SLAs

    Hi,

We're looking for a new CRM system (currently using Highrise) and SugarCRM looks pretty good so far!

A large part of what we do is servicing customers with long-term service contracts.

    What we'd like to do:

    1. Create a "Contract" for every contract we have (Many "Accounts" have more than one contract, often in different locations for franchisees/subsidiaries)

    2. Link support calls (and esp. callouts) to the Contract. In some cases, we need to do scheduled call-outs.

    3. Opportunities would convert into Contracts.

Can I facilitate the above in Sugar? Your help is greatly appreciated!

I'd say yes, this should be possible even with CE. You may create a new module "contract" and link it to the customer. You may also rename the projects module.
Converting opportunities into contracts is a bit trickier, here you may need some hours of bespoke work.
