    Default case tickts

    I just started to play with surgarCRM CE 5.5.1 and was wondering when creating a case ticket how to get it to send a email to the customer that a support ticket was created. and then when a change was made on the ticket to send a email with that info.

    In Pro an easy way to do this would be through the Workflow manager. However, as you're on CE, you're going to most likely have to work through this functionality with a logic hook: http://www.sugarcrm.com/crm/support/...r.html#9000547
    If you're just starting out, this is probably going to be a little in depth for your first assignment, as you'll need to understand quite a bit about the bean architecture and the SugarPHPMailer class, but don't let that deter you .
