CE Logging Users Out At random Intervals

We have just begun using SugarCRM for prospecting. Every user that we have set-up is experiencing random log-outs. For me, I might log-in and then perform a search and it will immediately ask me to re-log-in. Sometimes I can search and make some record changes and then randomly it will ask me to re-log-in. Invariably, this is after I have just keyed in a new record and so none of the data is saved. Some users can go most of the day without re-logging-in.

Is there anywhere that a time-out setting can be edited?
I also though this might be an issue with sessions or write permissions, any thoughts?

Any help or guidance is appreciated.

It is most likely a problem with your sessions, as time outs tend to be consistent in their time frame.

Take a look at your PHP.INI file and check the sessions.save_path setting. Take note of the directory it points to and monitor it as people are using Sugar to see if it is writing the session files.
