Changing Database Name

Is there an easy way to change the name of my database? I tried to change it then modify config.php but then I was not able to connect to my Sugar installation.

Use phpmyadmin, select your db, go to operations and choose copy (it's safer than rename). Make sure that all permissions are kept. If not give the user mentioned in config.php the necessary permissions for the new database, no need to touch the password. Change your config.php to reflect the changes of the db name and you're all set. As usual: at your own risk.
