Default Client Login vs Company login

I need to allow our customers to login and manage projects and submit bug tickets.

The problem is, I don't see how I can restrict a login to specific projects, restrict the view of bugs to ones that they are involved with [not just owner of]. It's like we need the app to have two personalities, one for internal company users and external client users.

Has anyone done this or know what I'm talking about?

I have played with permissions etc for roles but it's still not quite what we are trying to accomplish.

    Appreciate your help,
    Mark

    Hi Mark,

it sounds like you want to use Team security. This is available in the Pro/Ent versions of Sugar, or there are some options available in SugarForge you can check out: http://www.sugarforge.org/softwarema...p?form_cat=353

i misread your posting the first time. I thought you were talking about restrictions for your Users. To allow customers to be able to log into the system and post/view bugs or cases related to them, then you are actually wanting a Portal functionality. This is available with ENT. There are some options available on the Forge you can check out: http://www.sugarforge.org/softwarema...p?form_cat=330
