"Comany" field in contact module

Hi,
I'd like to add the company name in the contact module (detail view, list or search a contact on his company name).

Can anyone tell me how to do that ? should I create a custom field and add it in the layyt out , or is this "company" field already availabe as a contact data but not displayed on t he pages ?

This field should be synchronisable byy the OUtlook Plugin (Jrabbit)

You can just type in an account name without having an account document - does that work for you?

I tried this and 4.0.1 will not accept an account name that doesn't have an account setup for it.

yes a company field would be nice, even though you can associate a contact with an account often you want to see what company they are with verses what account they are associated with.
