Default Community Edition on Amazon EC2

So for the guy that has no clue does it mean that I can install SugarCRM on Amazon servers and it will run like hosted version? How about upgrades? Is there a disadvantage to installing SugarCRM on Amazon EC2?

    Thank you

I gather that Levementum have been running SugarCRM on the EC2 cloud - you may want to speak with them. http://www.levementum.com/

Well my question was in response to SugarCRM CE built officially available for Amazon EC directly from Sugar. But I was curious if there is anything different in running this built than just installing the SugarCRM on my own host..

No difference ... Amazon are just another service provider ... and you are responsible for upgrades ... which is as it should be (IMHO)
