Default The Community Edition should be renamed to Demo Version.

    Hi,

In the Community Edition, when I export data from SugarCRM as a csv file the user’s name shows up in HEX values, why is that?

Also, when someone updates a Project, the date created and modified is not shown, is this also true for the commercial version?

You can add the date modified & date created (and who did it) in the Studio I believe.

Normally, these are used for Auditing.

And the hex value is a 32 length unique field that links to the user - same in all versions.

but the user's name dose not appear in the report, how would you identify the user in the report?

As the name says: An export is an export and not a report. If you want proper reporting you either need to go for the pro version or you start to learn basic db theory and use a 3rd party reporting tool (e.g. Jasper).

In order to make user names visible import your csv file into a spreadsheet, do the same with the user table (there is also an export function) and combine these two through e.g. "vlookup". Probably not the most elegant solution but quick and easy.
