Hi,
Do you have competitive information against Microsoft Dynamics CRM? It can be documented feature comparison or real-life implementation problems.
Thanks,

The real difference between Community Edition and any other proprietary application (including the SUgar Ent and Pro versions) is the Open Source nature of Sugar and the stack/environment.
By choosing Open Source you are opting for "freedom" ... freedom to alter/amend/change ... freedom from vendor pressure ... freedom to deploy to environments of your choosing ... freedom to upgrade at the time of your choice ... freedom to donate or not to donate code/bug fixes.
To this simple mind, the CRM processes are well known and most of the vendors do approximately the same thing ... it's a commoditised space .... competitive advantages are narrow ... some vendors can claim tight integration because they own the entire stack ... but with that comes lock-in and lack of freedom.
So, sorrry if this has been a rant but I haven't found a point by point comparison ... you could point to the Aberdeen Group report that recently recommended SugarCRM, Oracle/Siebel, Microsoft and SalesFoce as offering the best value for money ... but they were comparing the ent/pro versions of sugar, not the CE version.

Thanks for the explanation. I agree, open source is an advantage for SugarCRM, and working with different infrastructure is another advantage.
However, my real quesion was related to "functionality". Because, license is some portion of the cost for a CRM system. Maybe bigger cost will be integration and operation. Therefore, someting comparing functionalities and implementation methdods woud help me a lot.
For instance, I've heard that, Microsoft Dynamics integrates to call center easily. Maybe this is related to TAPI implementation. SugarCRM is strong in sales and lead processes.
Again, if you can provide any such comparison I'll appreciate.
Best Regards,
If you, like me, had googled for Dynamics vs SugarCRM, then you'll know that their is a paucity of fact based comparisons. There's a lot of opinion but that's of little value when seeking to impress potential customers ... we can all have opinions ...
The challenge in a fast moving environment is keeping any comparison current.
