Contacts vs. Accounts

Any way you can just create a contact upon creating an account?

Ideally, I would just want a field in the Create Account form that says something like "Contact person" instead of having to crete contacts separately and assign them to accounts.

Would appreciate your input!

Another tactic you might consider taking is to enter your data as leads and use the Convert Lead function to create the Account and Contact. This might not fit with your business flow, though (and you would end up with Opportunities, which I'm not sure you're using).

Actually, the creation of an Opportunity via Convert Lead is optional.

i have the same problem, i don’t use contacts only accounts, leads and opportunities.
i want to use outlook integration and as I can only sync contacts I somehow need duplicate account with contacts. So i need crate a contact based on the account information (keeping all user permissions the same) so they will have the same data.

i need a way to extend “new account” (or what sugar has) to crate the parallel contact.

Any ideas how to do so ?
