Contract Expiry Notification Issues

Hi All,

Our company is using Sugar Version 6.2.1 (Build 6405), hosted by sugarondemand.com

1. The issue is when we create a new contract, Sugar will automatically e-mail out a notice, as a reminder to renew the contract immediately when the contract is created. We only want Sugar to send the renewal notice on the date that was specified on the "Expiration Notice: " field when we created the contract. Is there a way to change this?

2. The second issue is that a field (Vendor) that we entered a value into shows up as "INVALID VALUE" when it sends out a reminder e-mail notice, but this view is saved correctly into the contract.

Contract: 2011-POL-PRZY
Client: Wirtualna Polska
Vendor: Invalid Value <<-------This shows up as invalid, this message was copied from the e-mail.

Can anyone shed some light onto this? Any help is appreciated, as this is pretty urgent.
