Copy Module as New Module

Hi all:

I want to basically copy either the "Cases" or "Bugs" modules to create a new module that I'll call "Product Enhancements"

I want this new module to have it's own role configuration so I can set access to only certain roles.

I'd also be interested in purchasing a 3rd party plug-in module if there was a good one that offered Case/Bug tracking type functionality.

Hi Ken,

Yeah, you can create a custom module with help of other modules but you may need to make sure that you don't mess up with the relationship issue. You can take a quick look here to learn more about relationship between two modules:http://www.openapp.org/open-source-c...ng-two-modules

Thanks for the info; I'm using Sugar 5; are the articles you point out relevant to 5.0.0.a?

Yeah, they are with relevance to the older versions of Sugar. Agree that it's not updated but took the ice-breaking for the issue to move on.
