create new email notification event

Dear all,
I'm working on a project with SugarCRM and I've a quick question for you.
I'm able to able email notification like lead assignment to user, but I would like add a new notification email, like for event as lead that became account.
So , when a lead is converted to account, I would like an email is sent.
Is it possible to add new notification events?
In which way?
Please consider I'm using Sugar 5.2.0 CE.

You would need to use something in the order of a custom logic hook or perhaps something like Process Manager, though I am not extremely familiar with the capabilities of the latter to know for sure if that is something it can do.

Process Manager will do this for you ... depending on the degree of flexibility ... for new account/contact creations, the forge project will suffice
