Creating Lead History

Is there a way in Sugar 4.5.1 that you can create a history of a Lead. For example if a lead comes in from a lead source (free product offer) and then two months later generates another lead (Requests Literature) can that show up under the orignal lead instead of creating a new lead. We want to save the fact that they got a free product and requested literature. Would like to find away to do this when writing to Sugar and not manually. Thanks.

This is a customization that could be done to Sugar if there were some field that could be relied on to uniquely identify the individual, such as e-mail address. You would have to add additional code to perform this check when you capture each lead. You may also have to add a new Leads sub-module to capture the individual Lead request details, since you will need to store some different data about each lead request.
