Custom field w/ link

I keep resumes in text files.
I'd like to include a link to the associated resume in my Leads entry
I want to be able to click and have the text file open in a viewer / editor
Has anyone done that or similar?

Look at the leads history. You can use the notes to attach a file or just put the content in the notes. This is after you create the lead. when you open the lead you will find a history section you can create a note or attachment there.
