    Default customer support return visit

    hi,

I'm not familiar with SugarCRM, and i need a return visit module for customer support (like every month make a phone call to customer). Can i just do this by the Cases module or should i develop a new module like the Cases but more clear?

Any help appreciated. And please feel free to correct my very bad english ;-)

I would assume you would want to use the activities section to schedule call backs for a specific date.

The cases module (how i use it) is for customer service. We create cases of issues (bad product, missed services, billing issues) for our accounts/leads.

Personally I would create a support user and create a recurring activity for that user. This way you can utilize the calendar functions and still associate the activity to an account/contact/lead.

this is what i would do atleast.

I want to keep all customer service and support activities in one place, seems i was wrong.

We used SugarCRM OS, and it was not support "recurring activity", but, not mind, we have some custom fields, seems i can modify the Calls module to fit our need.

    scliburn, thanks for share!
