Customize cases module appearning in contacts

Sugar provides ability to create a cases against a contact as a subpanel. How do I customize this sub-panel through studio? I could not find any reference in studio to access this subpanel for me to customize.

Hi, bathi743.

If you are using the SugarCRM 5.0 then you can modify the Cases subpanel under Contacts accessing the Studio -> Contacts module -> Subpanels -> Cases.

In the older versions you must create a new subpanel definition in Cases subpanels (modules/Cases/subpanels) and refers this new subpanel definition at Contacts layout_defs.

we are using sugar 5.0, I have tried this option and it is chaning the list view of cases under the contacts module. The changes done through this are affecting the listview, but not the actual panel. I am trying on Sugar-on demand trail version
