Customizing sugar new functionnalities

Hi everybody,

I would like to add a new fonctionnality to SugarCrm.

For each contact, i would like to manage a list of contracts with :
- a name
- a starting date
- a expirationdate
- ..............

I can manually add a new table.

Where could I find a description of the sugarcrm database ?

I think that you should create new module which name "Contracts"
You can define fields of table in vardefs.php file which in each module.
