Dashlet disappears from home page

Hello

I create new user, create new role, set next rules to module (for example Calls or Contacts):
Access - Enabled
Delete - Owner
Edit - Owner
Export - Owner
Import - All
List - Owner
View - Owner
Add new user to this role and press Save

After that I login as recently created user and Dashlet for the current module disappears from Dashlet list, I can't add it to my home page at all. The same happens to custom modules.

Is this behavior a bug?

what version of Sugar are you using? Which dashlets are missing? what are the restrictions set in the Role? Are the dashlets that are missing the ones that you restricted via the Roles?

Version 5.1.0a
The Dashlet of module, to which I apply restrictions (I told about restrictions above).
If I apply this restrictions to Calls, than My Calls Dashlet disappears from home page.

hello,

i tested this out and i see what you mean. Unless both the List and View are set to All (or Not Set), then the dashlet is not able to be added to the home page. this is definitely a bug. I have logged bug #26422 for this issue

I had this problem too in 5.2.0c. I couldn't add the "My Open Tasks" dashlet.

Workaround: put security on the Role as View:all and List:all, add the dashlet, then put security back to the way you want it.

It seems the only problem is with adding the dashlet, not with using it after it is added...
