Data (or guesstimate) about most widely used SugarCRM versions today?

Hi

Is there any data about which SugarCRM versions are most widely used today?

Are there still many 5.5.x deployments out there?

Which 6.x. revision is most popular? 6.1, 6.2?

Do people regularly upgrade their SugarCRM instances?

I am asking this to get some perspective on real life SugarCRM versions out there and better build my custom module that should cover most popular versions of SugarCRM.

I think the best places to get an impression of which versions are used are the Sugar forums. If you'd take a look at the different threads where people give information about their installations you could get some kind of statistics ...
As far as I see there are still a lot of 5.5.x installations, some people even use older releases. The main reason for this is as I think that 5.x and 6.x are not compatible in many cases so especially users with a huge amount of customizations hesitate to upgrade to 6.x because of the costs.

I will check the forum in detail - good idea.

Our customers tend to stay on their initial deployment versions because of the all customizations as well.

I guess 5.5.x deployments are quite numerous and should definitely be supported.
