Data import size limitation

I tried to import data in online trial version, it does not allow the .csv file size to be more than 3 Meg. Is it a limitation only on the online trial or is it same for the licensed versions too?

I also presume that the limit for data import is on the file size and not on the number of records?

Yes it's the file size and it's limited by your php settings and your system settings (whichever is reached first I believe). Thus you may try to change the max upload file size in the system settings and check whether it has any effect. If not then you may want to split up your import file.
